Meet Chewy! Chewy is one of the friendliest, most chill, relaxed guinea pigs we have ever had the pleasure of fostering! This boy does not have a shy bone in his body, he will come right up to you asking to be pet, and he'll sit there and let you pet him for as long as you'd like! He's very easy to pick up out of his cage (most guinea pigs run from you initially when you go to pick them up, but not Chewy!). He will happily snuggle on your lap forever and not move. The perfect tv companion! He is a bit of a picky eater, but very much enjoys carrots, cucumbers, apples and kale. And of course his hay and pellets! He's a smart boy who quickly learned how to go up and down the ramp to his second floor loft. He saw our vet and got a clean bill of health. We have been dragging our feet on posting him because he's such a great boy and we just love having him! He'd probably enjoy having a guinea pig friend though to keep him company. We love him and we know you will too! 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
