Our girl Ginger has been through so much in her short couple of years. She is a rescue from an Amish family who no longer wanted her because she wouldn't breed or hunt. They acquired her from another Amish family who told them she would bring them good pups to sell. Thankfully for Ginger that didn't happen and they reached out to us. When she first went to her foster home she was very overweight and had little interest in life. She would mostly sleep, greet the family when they came home and lay back down. After these past few months she is becoming a dog. One that goes on daily walks with the other dog in the house, showing much more interest in the family and interacting with life around her. She is perfect with dogs, kids and cats. Trust worthy to be left alone in the house. She still needs to loose a few more pounds and needs a family that will continue to show her that there is so much more to life than being left outside of a farm house.
