Mercedes won us over with her gorgeous markings and statuesque appearance. She is long and lean and is still learning how to walk in her long legs, which is sometimes hilarious to watch. She loves to play with her toys, romp around outside, or settle down close to you. Mercedes is extremely intelligent and is quickly learning to come. She's also doing very well with paper training, outside training, and crate training.

Mercedes would appreciate a forever home who will take her for walks or runs on a daily basis as she appears happiest when the time is spent being active with her. Mercedes gets along well with her foster mates but tends to want to run the show or be the boss. For this reason, we are searching for someone who either has a mature dog who will teach her manners, will be committed to frequent socialization with other dogs, or a home where she is the only pet. Since Mercedes is so intelligent and wants to please, we're quite certain she would be at the top of her obedience class and would easily learn hand signal commands.
