Cornish Rex's anyone??? Spottie and Charlie Chan are beautiful purebred Cornish Rex's with gorgeous short curly hair that feels like velvet and wonderful personalities to go along with their good looks. DPR was contacted by a local family looking to rehome them due to their son's severe allergies. They are two of the sweetest, most affectionate cats we have ever met! We really can't say enough great things about their amazing and unique personalities. They are not shy at all - they love everyone they meet and they want nothing more than to be pet or to cuddle on your lap. 

Spottie is white with a black spot on his back (hence the name Spottie!) He is a major lap cat! He will sit on your lap for as long as you will let him. He is very mellow, calm and easy going. He likes to be held upside down and get his tummy rubbed.  He loves to cuddle under the covers.

Charlie Chan was a show-cat drop out. His breeder wanted to show him but Charlie did not enjoy that lifestyle! He is an incredibly sweet boy. He loves to be pet and will do everything he can to try to climb up onto your lap. He is a master head-butter and has a great purr! He is extremely chatty and loves to tell you all about his day, he has a very unique sounding meow! He loves his brother, and the two of them curl up in their bed under the blanket together. They get along well with children and with other cats and dogs too.  These sweet kitties have lived together their whole lives and are very bonded, so they will need to be adopted together as a pair. 

Spottie and Charlie have food allergies and require a prescription diet to keep them healthy and feeling their best. They are doing very well on Hills Science Diet Z/D canned food and dry food. They have very few teeth remaining but they have no problem eating their dry food!

Spottie and Charlie Chan are neutered, declawed by previous owners (all 4 feet), negative for FeLv/FIV, up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. They are about 7-8 years old. You very rarely see Cornish Rex's in rescues, so don't miss out on your chance to experience this wonderful breed!
