Diamond is a gorgeous Russian Blue who has a wonderful personality to go along with her good looks!  She was rescued from a shelter down south. She is a big solid girl (who could stand to lose a few pounds!), and she loves to be pet and held.  She will climb right up onto your lap and stay there until you move her.  She is very mellow and laid back most of the time, but she does like to play with her toys! She is very sweet and affectionate and is not shy at all! She gets along well with other cats, and also enjoys the children in her foster home! We can't say enough great things about this sweet girl!

Diamond was declawed by her previous owners.

Diamond appears to be a Russian Blue, but she may be a mix, so we cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic.  

Diamond is spayed, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
        Adoption fee is: $100

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
