Meshue is a handsome Maine Coon who is looking for place to call home!  Meshue was living outside, and when it got cold this winter, he decided to just saunter inside someone's nice warm house!  The family has been fostering him ever since, but they are severely allergic and have reached out to us to help find him a forever home.  At first they thought he was a pregnant female because he is rather large! They were suprised when the vet informed them he was in fact a boy!  He is a total love! He doesn't even mind having his nails trimmed! He loves to be pet and he's a very friendly kitty.  He is scheduled to be transported to DPR on Feb. 18th, but we are accepting applications for him now!

Meshue is neutered, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $150

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
