LAP CAT ALERT!!! Arlee is a beautiful fluffy kitty who was rescued from a shelter in NC. He is roughly 1 year old, and is the brother of Albert and Amber (and older brother of Jack and Stephen). He is the sweetest guy and absolutely loves to be held and pet! He will follow you around untill you stop and pet him or hold him! He loves to head-butt and will stand on his back two legs to head-butt your hand to let you know that he would like some attention. He is a loving guy who gets along well with everyone. He is very sweet, friendly and affectionate! Even though Arlee is almost always seen cuddling with his person if you get out a laser pointer you will see how much this boy loves to play! It is so entertaining to see how crazy he gets when you bring out the laser pointer and even after you put it away he will still continue to look for that little red dot! Arlee is such an amaxing cat and whoever adopts him will be very lucky!!
Arlee is neutered, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
