Duncan is a chatter box who is full of personality!! A driver saw him meowing in the middle of the road, stopped and opened her door, and Duncan jumped right in! She contacted us and we happily agreed to take him.  Boy does he have A LOT to say! He was not happy about being stuck in a cage during his required quarantine time and told us every chance he got (check out his video)! All he wants is to be out with his people, playing and cuddling with them. This little guy has a wonderful personality and is oh-so-cute. He is very sweet and gentle to small children and not fearful of their excitement! He will crawl right up onto their laps and give them kisses. He will run to greet you at the door - he has never known a stranger! 

Duncan has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and are litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee is: $150, plus $40 refudable neuter deposit

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
