LAP CAT! Mona was rescued from a high kill shelter along with her kittens (Devan, Azure & Addison - her kittens will be ready for adoption in about a month). She was a wonderful mother to them, and now she is looking for a home to call her very own! She is a definite cuddle bug and will sit on your lap, your chest, wherever you'll let her! She is friendly and affectionate and loves everyone she meets. She is awesome with other cats and dogs too. She is only about a year old, really just a kitten herself.
Mona is currently being foste

Mona is spayed, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $150

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
