Does it get any cuter than Molly and Minerva?! I mean seriously!? These two little wizards (Harry Potter fans anyone?) are 4 month old sisters, and they are both super sweet! It is so much fun to watch these curious and adventurous bunnies hop around and explore. They love to be pet and are super soft! Minerva has short grey hair which is very easy to groom, and her sister, Molly, is a Lionhead who has long tufts of hair around her neck and on her sides. The hair on her back is short though, so grooming requirements for her are not too extensive either. Molly and Minerva are being fostered in a home with small children and cats, and they are not afraid of either! They know that the kids are the ones who bring them their yummy treats, so they will hop right over to them! Their favorite treats are apples, bananas and lettuce. They are not very messy with their hay, and their litter box training is coming along too. They love to play with their toys, especially the woven grass balls - they will throw them up in the air and then chase after them like a puppy. They are also masters of the bunny "binky"! These two sweet bonded sisters are guaranteed to keep you entertained! So how did Molly and Minerva end up needing rescuing you might ask? Well, let us tell you their story. In May 2018, Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue received a call about a dumpsite of rabbits in Denton, MD. We can assure you, out in the wild is no place for a domestic rabbit to be! All in all, they rescued 22 rabbits....and several of those were pregnant - so the grand total including the newborn babies ended up being 51 rabbits! Molly and Minerva are two of those lucky little babies. They were born in a loving foster home, and have known nothing but love and comfort their whole lives! Molly and Minerva will be ready for adoption after they are spayed when they are 6 months old, which will be in November. The adoption fee for the pair is $75.
