This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care. 

Just a beautiful girl!!! Sasha will settle into your arms quickly but a bit shy at first.  Sasha is tiny just like her sister and will most likely only be in the 7 lb range full grown.  She along with her sister Marci were rescued from a kill shelter down south.  She is doing so much better now that she is out of the shelter and is becoming more and more confident. 

Sasha is spayed and has tested negative or FeLv/FIV, up to date on all vaccinations and are litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee for Sasha is $150. 

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
