Introducing....BRYAN! We are so thrilled that our (not-so-tiny-anymore) Bryan is finally ready for his forever home! We rescued Bryan's mama, Renee, from a high kill shelter, and she gave birth in a loving foster home. Renee is a beautiful Maine Coon mix with an amazing personality and she transferred her good looks and great personality to little Bryan. Bryan is 6 months old, neutered, and absolutely thriving now - you'd never know that when he was born he had "failure to thrive" and nearly did not survive. His foster mom supplemented him with syringe feeding for 6 weeks, but it still took him 2 months to reach 1 pound. We threw him a little party when he finally reached 2 pounds at nearly four months old! After that he has taken off and been packing on the pounds steadily - he's up to about 5 pounds now.
Bryan has the most loving, cuddly, sweet personality. An exceptionally special boy who finds a way into the hearts of everyone he meets. He is not shy at all. He has been fostered with many cats and dogs his whole life and gets along great with everyone. He will even lay there and tolerate the puppies pouncing on his tail! He is definitely one of a kind. He is 100% lap cat - all he wants to do is cuddle with you, especially in your left arm cuddled on your chest with his face against yours. It is going to tug on all of our heart strings when he gets adopted, but we are excited for him to finally find his very own forever home with someone who will love and spoil him all of his days!
Bryan will be ready for adoption starting Nov. 12th.
Bryan is neutered, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
