Felix will rub all over you and soak in all the love! He is very affectionate and sweet! This big boy will run to the door to greet you, he's confident and outgoing and will make a wonderful addition to any family! He gets along very well with the other cats and kittens he is being fostered with. Felix also loves dogs and kids! He is a pretty bomb-proof cat, nothing phases him! He is happy to play with hyper toddlers and kittens, and just loves to be pet. He is very gentle and would even make a good therapy cat. We just can’t say enough great things about Felix!

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
