Animal control was called about a stray cat who had its head stuck in a ravioli can. And that's how our sweet Ravioli got her name! Animal control officers caught her, freed her from the can and brought her to the shelter. Her hair was all red from the sauce. (see pictures below) One of our volunteers picked her up from the shelter, got her all cleaned up, and now Ravioli is ready for her next chapter - the one where she finds her forever home! She is an absolute lap cat. She is so affectionate and such a great cuddler! She gets along well with other cats too. And just look at all the gorgeous fluffy hair (that's no longer covered in tomato sauce!)

Ravioli is spayed, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $150

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
