Holy Fluffiness! Get your brush ready, and meet Cloee! She is a sweet girl with a beautiful long coat. She is affectionate, and enjoys cuddling! She showed up with her friend, Charm, at a nice mans house when they were very young, but he was eventually not able to afford to care for them anymore so they were turned into a shelter. They are not the same age, but they might be siblings from 2 different litters. DPR pulled them from the shelter and are looking for the purrfect homes for them! They can be adopted together or separately. 

Cloee is spayed, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
