Meet Rebecca and Lukens! These two sweet little girls were found at a steel mill in Coatesville, PA. They were clearly somebody's pets in the past, and it is so heartbreaking that someone would dump them at a steel mill to fend for themselves. They were hiding under the trucks pictured below, and thanks to the help from the safety department at the mill, we were able to rescue them. We named them after Rebecca Lukens, the original ower of the steel mill 200+ years ago. These bunnies are incredibly sweet and friendly! They are outgoing and will run right over to you and climb up on your lap for petting and treats. Their favorite snacks are bananas, carrots and apples and they go crazy for them! They get along very well with children - they are very gentle with the kids and will even give them kisses. They are not afraid of cats either. Rebecca & Lukens got a clean bill of health at the vet and were spayed. The vet estimates them to be about 1-2 years old and thinks that they are most likely sisters. They are extremely bonded - they are always cuddling together and grooming each other, so they will need to find a home where they can be adopted as a pair. Their hair is incredibly soft, and since it is short, you won't have to worry about mats and daily brushing. They are litter box trained as well!
