I have an approx. nine month old pit bull puppy who is neutered, up to date, and microchipped that I need to rehome. He is a sweet boy with a big personality. Very loving and great with people and other equally size dogs. He just is a little rough with smaller dogs.( I have two mini dauchsunds and a lab) My daughter brought the dog into my home as a very small pup without my permission. I really don't want to give him to a shelter but Im not getting any responses from local pit bull rescues. Im hoping you are in a position to help. He does so/so in the crate. He cries. He really is a big baby. He cries when he can’t see you. As for house training, it’s a work in progress. I do leave him out in the kitchen: family room and he does ok. He’s not a chewer except his toys. He knows sit but he’s stubborn. He needs an assertive owner who is willing to work with him. He lives with a cat and two mini dachshunds. He thinks they are toys and bullies them a little. Not in a mean way, he just plays rough and they don’t like it. I also have a two year old lab and they get along great.
