If you are interested in adopting Piper, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
Piper is as bomb-proof as they come! She is extremely friendly and affectionate and has the personality of a ragdoll. When you pick her up, she will just mold into whatever position you put her in while purring the whole time, she wants nothing more than to cuddle and sit on your lap. She is wonderful with little kids, dogs, cats, you name it. She's being fostered with young kids who she just adores! She's playful, gentle and adorable with easy-to-groom short hair and a spotted belly. She is a complete lap cat who loves to be carried around. We honestly can't say enough great things about this sweet little girl. We love her and we know you will too!
She tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is microchipped, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
