This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

Tiberius is a hoot! He arrived at DPR with the rest of the "Secret Life of Pets" kitties who were all rescued from a high kill souther shelter shortly before they were scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space at the shelter.
Tiberius loves to play play play! He is an adorable little 3 month old Maine Coon mix who is guaranteed to keep you entertained! This boy does not have a shy bone in his body. He loves everyone he meets! He gets along really great with the big dogs he's being fostered with, he loves to play with all the other cats and kittens and he loves children and toddlers! When he's not playing, you can find him curled up on someones lap, he loves to cuddle!

He tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
