If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
Gidget is a tiny little girl with a big personality! She arrived at DPR with the rest of the "Secret Life of Pets" kitties who were all rescued from a high kill souther shelter shortly before they were scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space at the shelter.
Gidget is much smaller than her siblings and all the kittens she is being fostered with, but she sure doesn't know it! She is feisty and playful and doesn't think twice about wrestling with the bigger kittens! She is very sweet and outgoing and friendly! She enjoys being picked up and held. She's a cuddle bug who also loves to play! We just love this little girl and we know you will too!
She tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
