Meet the Thanksgiving Kittens! Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie and Sweet Potato are adorable 10 week old Maine Coon mix kittens who were rescued from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. They are very sweet, fluffy and cuddly! They love to play, and they get along great with everybody!
Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie are a brother/sister bonded pair who are looking for a home together. Pumpkin is the ridiculously fluffy girl, Pecan is the chubby faced adorable short haired boy. The two of them are always playing together and snuggled up together. We are unsure how one kitty in the litter has such short hair, but they look exactly the same otherwise. We expect them both to be very large cats because at only 10 weeks old they are already quite big!
And while you're at it - check out our Thanksgiving Puppies too (Turkey, Gravy, Mashed Potato, Stuffing, Cranberry and Green Bean Casserole!)
The kittens have tested negative for FeLv/FIV, are up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $250 for the pair, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
