Meet Luka! This gorgeous guy was rescued from a high kill shelter in NC. He is about 8 months old. He is friendly and sweet and gets along well with everybody. He LOVES to be pet and he just purrs and purrs and purrs. He is a major cuddle bug and lap cat. Poor Luka somehow severely injured the tip of his tail - broke it clean off! We wish he could tell us what happened, but he arrived that way. He isn't in any pain thankfully and the vet said it's healing nicely. We told him that it's not a big deal to have a slightly shorter tail and it just adds to his unique story. Luka is a truly amazing kitty, we love him and we know you will too!

He is neutered, tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee is: $100

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
