Garfield is a big orange fluffy kitty who was rescued from a high kill shelter in NC. He is a big boy with a big personality! He LOVES everyone he meets and is especially fond of dogs! He will go right up to the dogs and head butt them and rub up against them purring, it is very sweet to see! He gets along really well with all the cats he is being fostered with including the crazy kittens! He is very sweet and gentle with children and just loves to be pet and receive all the attention he can! He's truly awesome!

He is neutered, tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $100

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
