Minnie and her siblings (Mickey, Daisy, Goofy and Cuckoo-Loca) are the sweetest most affectionate little kittens around! You may not believe us when we say they are all from the same litter since they all look so different, but we have had them since they were teeny tiny babies needing to be bottle-fed, so we assure you they are definitely all related! They are 4 months old now and in that perfect fun kitten stage that everybody loves! They have been lovingly hand-raised and are very well adjusted kittens - they get along great with everyone, including kids, toddlers, dogs and cats!
Minnie has beautiful sleek black hair and looks like a Bombay kitten. She has such an endearing and funny personality. She is always flopping over on her back and rolling around and showing you her cute little belly. She is super affectionate and loving, and has a great purr. She is playful and enjoys playing with her toys and wrestling with her siblings. But she is very people oriented and likes to follow us around, and loves to be pet and cuddled. She gets along great with adult cats, kittens, dogs and kids. She is very tolerant of the toddler at her foster home who likes to carry her around! She's a great little girl, we love her and we know you will too!
They tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, are up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Adoptive families can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone ordo a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. All paperwork can be done online and adoption fees can be paid by Paypal. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
