Willis is just a big marshmallow. We love this big boy and we know you will too! He spends most of his day lounging around and cuddling up on his kitty beds. He is very affectionate and will start purring as soon as you start petting him. He is super patient with the little kids at his foster home and will just lay there and let the 3 year old cover him with blankets and put bows in his hair. He seems to really like her and it just warms our heart. He gets along very well with all the other cats he's being fostered with as well, including the playful little kittens. He is a mellow, lazy guy with a heart of gold!

He is neutered, tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption
Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

      Adoption fee is: $100

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Adoptive families can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. All paperwork can be done online and adoption fees can be paid by Paypal. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
