Meet Shelby! This fun girl has the cutest little poof of a tail and a great personality to go along with her cuteness. She is not shy at all, she is very outgoing and friendly. She will follow you around soliciting attention whenever possible! All you have to do is look at her and she will run over for some pets. She is about 3 years old and still has a lot of kitten left in her - she loves to play and explore! 

Shelby is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
