Meet Dolly Sinatra! Mom of little blue-eyed Frank Sinatra, this adorable duo was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. Dolly is as sweet as they come! She not only has stunning good looks, she also has a stellar personality to go along with it! She is not shy at all, she will come right over to new people to solicit some pets and head scratches. She is a calm, mellow gal who has been a wonderful momma to little Frankie. Frankie is a bit shy, so Dolly has been great role model for him to teach him that the world is not so scary.
Dolly is spayed, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
