Where to start with this little beauty?! Marilyn Monroe got her name from the Hollywood icon with a similar beauty mark. Marilyn is as friendly as they come! She loves everyone she meets and is especially great with kids. She loves to explore and play with her toys and with all the other foster kittens. She is spunky and funny and oh-so-cute! She has super long thick hair with the prettiest coloring. She'll need someone who will be committed to keeping her coat brushed as she gets older! This little girl has a BIG personality wrapped up in a tiny little 2 pound bundle of fluff!
Marilyn tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained.
If you are interested in adopting Marilyn, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $200 (plus refundable spay/neuter deposit of $40)
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
