Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller are adorable little 1.5 pound balls of fluff! These sweet brothers have a sad back story, but their luck has changed! Can you believe somebody threw these innocent little babies in a dumpster at a landfill?! It is a miracle the loader operator heard their tiny cries, they were minutes away from being buried under thousands of pounds of trash. Thankfully, he rescued them and took them to us where they have been receiving a lot of TLC! They are very sweet and loving babies. They understandably are taking a little bit of time to learn to trust, but they have already come so far! They enjoy being pet and are becoming more outgoing each day! They both have extremely long hair, so they will need to be groomed and brushed regularly to keep them from getting matted as they get older. They are a bonded pair, so we are looking for a home where they can be adopted together.

They tested negative for FIV/Felv, are up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
