Meet Hazelnut! She is an adorable 3 month old kitten who was rescued from a southern shelter. She has gorgeous markings and a great personality! She loves to play and to cuddle and gets along great with all the other kittens she is being fostered with. She is a little peanut who loves to be held and cuddled, and she will roll around on her back when you come over to get more pets and attention. She enjoys playing with all her toys, especially the wand toys! She'd make a wonderful addition to any home!
She tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
