Mango is such a gorgeous fluffy girl with stunning markings and cute white feet! She only just arrived up at DPR, so she is still getting used to her foster home. She is still a little reserved, but she has been exploring and coming out of her shell more and more each day. She would probably do best in a quieter home where she will be given the time she needs to adjust. She's about 3.5 pounds right now with a lot of long fluffy hair that will need to be brushed regularly.
This cat tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
