The "Airline" kitties arrived to DPR on 10/30/21 from a North Carolina shelter. Delta, Southwest, Alaska, United, Air France, Iberia, Spirit, American, Jet Blue, Quantus, Air Lingus & Lufthansa are settling into their foster homes! They get along very well, and are very friendly, social and playful! 
American is a shelter favorite! He almost did not make it up to DPR because his foster mom in NC almost kept him! This chocolate colored beauty has such an amazing personality. He is about 4 months old and is so loving and affectionate. He is a kind soul. When he's not soliciting pets and cuddles, you can find him playing with his toys and with his foster siblings. Whoever gets to bring this special guy home will have hit the kitten jackpot! 

This cat is neutered, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
