Meet Mulberry! This sweet mama kitty was brought to the shelter in North Carolina with her babies. DPR pulled her and her kittens and they're in a loving foster home while they await their forever homes! She was a great mom to her babies, and now she's looking for a home of her very own where she can be loved and pampered! She is super super friendly and affectionate! She wants nothing more than to just be pet and cuddled. She gets along really great with young kids and does very well with all the other cats she is being fostered with. She is about 1 year old and has beautiful medium length hair that should not require any extra grooming. She'll make a great addition to your home!

This cat is altered, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $150

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
