Guinea Pig (long coat) : : Male (not neutered) : : Baby
Meet Clover! This sweet spunky little guy is only 3 weeks old! His family (mom, uncle and grandmother) were surrendered to DPR when their family could no longer care for them. Clover's mom, Daffodil, was pregnant and gave birth to Clover within a couple days of arriving to DPR (on March 29). Clover has known nothing but love and cuddles from the moment he was born! Guinea pigs are able to run around just a few hours after they're born and can eat solid food right away too! The last picture and the video were taken the day Clover was born! He is such a cutie. Male guinea pigs need to be separated from their mothers at 3-4 weeks old, so little Clover is ready for adoption! He is VERY chatty and very active. He loves to run around and will jump up in the air in excitement (called "popcorning"). He loves his hidey houses and tunnels too. He will sqeak with excitement when he see us because that usually means they are getting fresh fruits and veggies, which they LOVE! Their favorites are romaine lettuce, bell peppers, carrots and bananas. They're not a fan of green beans (but who can blame them!) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Guinea Pig Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms Adoption fee is: $40 for a single guinea pig This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption!
