Meet Aunt Trixie! This gorgeous fluffy girl has a long luxurious coat and an awesome personality to go along with her good looks. She is about a year old and is very friendly and affectionate. She follows her foster mom around and climbs up on her lap for love and attention. She likes to "help" do everything! She loves to be pet and she enjoys playing with her toys as well. She gets along great with all the other cats she is being fostered with. She also loves to sit on the windowsill and watch the birds. Trixie will make an awesome addition to your home!

This cat is neutered, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
