Sarah is a small and sweet little Beagle/Basset Hound girl. She is built like a Basset with little stocky 5" legs and a long body - too cute. She appeared at someone's house as a stray and they were good enough to find rescue for her. Sarah is around eight years old but other than a few grey hairs you would never know it. She loves to entertain herself in the yard by throwing a toy up in the air and pouncing after it. She is so happy and playful outside, but when she's inside she's totally content sleeping upside down on a chair with all of her legs sticking straight up in the air.  She acts like a Beagle outside and a Basset inside :).  Sarah was mistreated before she came to rescue and she spent a lot of time when she first arrived thinking that every move we made was to hit her.  And somehow she still just wants to be cuddled and loved.   Sarah has been through alot in her life and no dog is more deserving of living the rest of their life in a loving environment.  She has a lot of time to make up for and so much love to give.  Sarah is the kind of dog you just fall in love with the second she looks up at you with those adoring eyes.
