Fred and George are 5 year old polydactyl brothers who have been together since birth. They are always cuddling and playing together!
George is a lap kitty and loves to curl up with you and a blanket. He can be a little cautious at first but once comfortable, always wants to be snuggled.
Fred is more independent but always wants to be near you for some extra love. Fred is also very chatty and will greet you as soon as you walk in!
They love treats almost as much as they love each other!
*Their adoption fee has generously been sponsored*
These cats are spayed/ neutered and tested negative for FIV/Felv
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
