Meet Hecuba! This fluffy little guy is about 2.5 months old and is as sweet as they come! He is very cuddly and loves to be picked up and held. He is relatively calm as far as kittens go, although he does enjoy playing now and then. He has adopted Calypso as his mom, and she has happily taken on the responsibility of grooming him and taking care of him. He is friendly and affectionate and an all around awesome kitten. 

This cat tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
