Molly has the biggest "Precious Moments" eyes we have ever seen! This stunning girl lived as an outdoor cat for most of her life, but longed for the life of an indoor cat! She would try to sneak into the houses near her, but nobody would let her stay, and instead would toss her back outside to fend for herself. She was eventually turned into the shelter in NC after she was desperately trying to drink from the hose while someone was watering their plants. The poor girl was so hot with all that thick long hair in the harsh North Carolina heat. The shelter was overfull and they reached out to us to see if we could take her. How could we say no?! She has been loving living inside in the air conditioning, with all the food and water she needs. She loves being brushed and she loves being pet. She is an absolute sweetheart with such a gentle loving soul. She gets along well with other cats. Molly is excited to find a loving home of her very own!

This cat is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $150

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
