Meet Stu! He is a super friendly and affectionate Seal Point Siamese with piercing blue eyes. He is very outgoing and gets along great with cats, dogs and kids! We really just can't say enough great things about him. He is unphased by things like being transported across the country or going to a new foster home- he just sauntered right out of the crate and acted like he's always lived here! Definitely no shyness or hiding from this special guy! He is a great mix of playful and cuddly.
He was surrendered to a shelter in NC with 6 other Siamese cats who were clearly very well loved and cared for, but unfortunately their landlord forced them to get rid of all the cats or they would lose their home. The shelter was overflowing at the time, so we took all 7 into our program right away. Tommy is Stu's brother, who is also available for adoption right now. The other 5 will be coming up on transport in the next few weeks and will be available soon.

This cat is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $200

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
