Meet Nadja! Have you ever seen such a stunning girl? Nadja is a torti point Balinese mix that is approximately 1-2 years old. She has adorable white boots on all of her feet, and is very friendly, affectionate, and outgoing. She will excitedly run to the door to greet you when you get home, and herfavorite thing in the world is playtime! But afterwards, she is happy to be brushed and take a nap in her chair or cat condo. If you’re in need of some comic relief, this girl is very silly and always good for a laugh. She likes to show her tongue and baby teefers when you pet the top of her head! She is not a picky eater and has perfect litterbox manners. She is also a quiet cat, but will give you a sweet scraggly meow when she sees her food bowl. This girl, however, prefers to be the only cat in the house. And she can have some tortitude at times and will nip at hands and feet when she’s had enough attention or is ready to play. For this reason, homes with small children are not recommended. She has a scar on her right eye likely from an infection she had as a kitten, but there is little impact to her vision. This special girl is excited to find her forever home!

This cat is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $200

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
