Meet Louie! Louie is a big guy with a big personality! He is super friendly and affectionate! Louie is wonderful with children and loves to be held and cuddled. He is such an easy going piggie, he even let us dress him up in a sombrero and serape! We think he looks quite dapper, don't you? Louie is very curious and loves to explore new places. He makes the cutest little squeaks, especially to let us know when he is hungry (which seems to be every time we enter the room!) He has a long list of favorite treats, some being romaine lettuce, kale, carrots, peppers, apples.... honestly we haven't found a fruit or veggie he is not a fan of! 

DPR pulled him from a Maryland shelter. Louie has had a wellness vet check as well as a nail trim in preparation for adoption! 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
