Meet Drew! He was rescued from a shelter in NC along with his siblings and mom (Angelica, Didi, Lulu and Lou). His mom and siblings are all Siamese, and he figure he must look like his dad! Drew is as sweet as can be! He is super outgoing and friendly and loves to play. He gets along great with all the other kitties he is being fostered with, and you can often find him cuddled up with one of the kittens on the top of the scratching post. He is very affectionate and enjoys being pet and cuddled and does not mind being picked up either. His favorite toys are the wand toys, he will play with those with you forever! He gets along great with the children in his foster home too (ages 5 & 8) and would be a good option for a family with children. He's just an awesome mix of playful and cuddly and adorable and we just can't say enough great things about him.
Check out Drew's cute video below!
Drew was surrendered to a shelter in NC with 6 other Siamese cats who were clearly very well loved and cared for, but unfortunately their landlord forced them to get rid of all the cats or they would lose their home. The shelter was overflowing at the time, so we took all 7 into our program right away.
This cat is microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
