Meet Stella! Stella is an absolute sweetheart who enjoys being held and snuggling on your lap. She is great with kids! She's a gentle and patient girl who let us put a dress on her and didn't seem to mind at all! Her previous family used to flip her upside down on their lap to cut her nails - she really is very easy going and agreeable! 
Stella was surrendered to DPR by a family who could no longer care for her and whose dog was keen on having Stella for a snack! They actually had to keep her in a locked bedroom in order to keep the dog out! 

Stella has had a wellness vet visit and a nail trim in preparation for adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
