Meet Sugar! This adorable piggie is just as sweet as her name! She is super friendly and very affectionate. She really enjoys being pet and held and is very calm. She even let us dress her up in Halloween costumes! As long as she's nibbling on apples or lettuce she's happy to dress up! She was surrendered to DPR when her family could no longer take care of her, but you can tell that she was very loved and well socialized. She is excellent with the children at her foster home and would be a good choice for a family with kids. She will run right up to you when you walk into the room and stand on her hind legs squeaking for treats. She has quite the personality! We love Sugar and we know you will too! 

She will have a wellness visit and a nail trim prior to adoption.

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
