Meet Panther and Spot! This adorable, friendly pair are super outgoing and adventurous. They love people and are very interactive! They are very chatty and go crazy when you have some fresh fruits and veggies for them! Their favorite foods are lettuce and carrots, but honestly we have not found a food they don't lose their minds over. They are very interested in the dog at their foster home and will run right up to cage and stick their noses through to sniff each other. When the dog walks around the cage, they follow her around, it's very cute. They like being picked up and pet and exploring new places. Spot (tri-colored) loves to fall asleep in your lap as you rub his back. Panther (black) is very playful but also enjoys being held. They love each other and are always together, so we are looking for a home where they can continue to stay together. They are 2 of 6 piggies who were surrendered to DPR when their family was no longer able to care for them due to housing issues, but all of them were extremely loved and well cared for and are clearly very used to being picked up and handled. They are friendly and social and are even used to being around dogs! These piggies will make a wonderful addition to your family! 

Spot and Panther saw our vet for a wellness visit and got a clean bill of health and had a nail trim. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
