WOW! I'm not sure we've ever met a cat as loving and affectionate as Yosemite. ALL she wants to do is hug you. Literally. She wants you to hold her and carry her around while she wraps her arms around your neck and nuzzles your face. She does this with every person who meets her, and she will do this with you and all your friends and family too. She'll follow you around and gently reach her front paws up your leg asking, begging, you to pick her up. She's a big fluffy girl with a somewhat squishy face resembling a Persian. She will need someone who will brush and groom her regularly so that her beautiful hair does not get matted. She would probably benefit from not free-feeding, as she might have a tendency to gain weight. She is approx 5 years old and gets along with cats and dogs (although she can be a tiny bit jealous if you're giving them more attention than her). She has very good house manners and has had the run of the house. She likes to sleep in bed with you at night. When she's not actively seeking attention, you can find her relaxed on the cat perch or windowsill gazing out the window. We really can't say enough great things about this girl, we love her and we know you will too! 

This cat is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
