Rainier, Smoky Mountain, Grand Teton and Everglade are 4 super sweet kittens who are about 3 months old and were rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. They are such a friendly and affectionate bunch!! They love to be held and petted and will cuddle up on your lap for as long as you'll let them. They are a perfect mix of playful and cuddly - definitely not crazy kittens, but certainly are up for a little play time with their toys! 3 of them are very fluffy and one has short easy to groom hair. The longer haired ones will need an adopter who is committed to brushing and grooming them regularly so that they do not get matted. They get along great with all the other cats and dogs they are being fostered with. They are spayed/neutered and microchipped and can be adopted out separately or in pairs. We love this adorable litter of kittens and we know you will too!

This cat is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
