Meet Duck & Goose! How cute are they?! These XL piggies are chunky and sweet as can be. They are very comfortable being handled and love to cuddle on your lap - especially if you have some yummy veggies to feed them! They were a big hit when the Girl Scouts visited the rescue - they were passed around and sat on everybody's laps and were just as happy as can be! They get very excited when they hear a bag rustling because they know that means they will be getting some yummy treats soon! They are chatty and will come right up to the front of the cage when you walk in the room. They are about a year old and were surrendered to DPR when their family could no longer care for them. They were raised in a home with kids, and you can certainly tell that with how comfortable they are with being handled. These two girls are super awesome and will make a wonderful addition to any home! (Check out our cute video!)

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
