Meet Heron! This cutie pie was rescued from a Maryland shelter - he came into the shelter impounded with several other piggies who were being housed outside. Heron is SO happy to be inside in a nice warm, clean cage with all the yummy food his little heart desires. He especially loves his fruits and veggies. He has a sweet little personality and doesn't mind being held. He has very soft silky fur. He'll make a wonderful addition to your home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption.
Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption!
